Institut Agricole Régional

The Institut Agricole Régional is a centre for training, research and agricultural experimentation that focuses particularly on environmental sustainability and promoting the Aosta Valley region.
One of its outstanding features is the Joseph Vaudan winery, equipped with modern technology for winemaking and production process control. Alongside traditional production, the winery hosts experimental micro-winemaking, supported by chemistry and microbiology laboratories, which allow for in-depth study and improvement of the quality of the wines produced.
The Institute's research activities also give rise to fruit and vegetable products, cereals, cheeses and meat specialities, available in shops in Aosta. Marketing is non-profit-making and responds to the desire to promote the results of research, reduce waste and give value back to the region.

- Winery (La Rochére region, 1/A): Monday to Friday 8am - 12.15pm / 2pm - 4.15 pm
- Montfleury Farmstead (via Piccolo San Bernardo, 39): Tuesday 8.15am - 12.30pm, Wednesday 1.30pm - 5.30pm, Friday 8.15am - 12.30pm. In this store it is possible to find, in addition to a limited availability of the producer’s label, dairy products, fruit, vegs and garden products, cereal flours, honey and other seasonal farm products.

The visit

Guided tours of the winery and tastings for groups and corporate events, upon request.
The other facilities of the Institut Agricole Régional can be visited on request exclusively for institutional and educational purposes. These tours are specially conceived for schools, universities, organisations and institutions in the agri-food sector.

From Turin along the A5 motorway, take the Aosta Est exit and continue on State Highway 26 towards Mont Blanc; from France, along the A5 motorway, exit Aosta Ovest, continuing on State Highway 26 towards Aosta; from Switzerland, along State Highway 27, continuing on towards Aosta.
