A harmonious wine, fruity and with an intense aroma
Vallée d’Aoste Chambave Rouge DOC is a dry, sapid and harmonious wine that envelopes the typical features of Valdostane red wine. It is mainly produced using Petit Rouge grapes (the discipline states a minimum quantity of 70%), which can be blended with Dolcetto, Gamay and Pinot Nero grapes, from the vineyards of Chambave, Saint-Vincent, Châtillon, Pontey, Saint-Denis and Verrayes.
It can be served throughout a meal, especially with local salted pork meat, soups and stews. Chambave Rouge provides a good alcohol content (11.5°-13°), a ruby red colour with purplish hues and anintense and lingering aroma, with hints of flowers and small fruits. We recommend you drink it at a temperature of 18°-20°.
