Food & Wine - visit the producers: Brissogne

At the foot of Mount Emilius (3,550 m), in the Aosta Valley, a farm was established in January 2020, driven by the passion and entrepreneurial spirit of two young dreamers.
The techniques used are artisanal and predominantly manual, with a focus on product quality and respect for the life cycle of insects, particularly bees. Alongside beekeeping, the farm also cultivates vineyards using traditional methods, to offer healthy and authentic products, in harmony with the local area.

Honey and honey products: mountain honey, high-mountain honey, honeycomb honey

White wine: Il 3 

Other products: honey sweets, pollen, propolis spray, cosmetics

The visit

Visitors can explore the apiary, the vineyards and the wine cellar. Tasting sessions are available. Visits take place from April to September/October and must be booked in advance by telephone on +39 340 7478696, one or two days beforehand. 

Number of visitors required for the tour: maximum 8 for the apiary and 12 for the vineyards

How to get there

From Aosta, take the SS26 towards Saint-Christophe, then follow the signs for Villefranche di Quart. At the roundabout, take the first exit, cross the Brissogne bridge and continue for about 1 km.
