Courmayeur in Danza

Every year during the first week of July Courmayeur hosts Courmayeur in Danza, a week dedicated to dance courses for children, with professional teachers.

The program includes:

• Open Class - lessons of the most diverse styles: Classic, Jazz, Contemporary, Modern, Hip Hop, Broadway Style for children behind closed doors at the Temporary Village “Courmayeur in Danza”, set up at the Middle Schools in Viale Monte Bianco 40 and open at the Jardin de l’Ange, a very central structure in the heart of the town.
• Danza sul Bianco, a show by young talents from the world of dance who have distinguished themselves in national and international competitions during the current year and awarding of the Danza sul Bianco trophy.
• Grand gala with the participation of all the students of the stage and the presence of well-known personalities from the world of dance and entertainment. All those enrolled in the internship, during the evening, will stage the choreographies studied with the masters and the prize dedicated to the memory of Helen Nathan Loro Piana will be awarded to a former student of Courmayeur in Dance who transformed his passion in profession.
• Photographic exhibition "Passo a Due - Danza e Montagna"
• Danced and sung Holy Mass at the Church of San Pantaleone
