The Quintino Sella Refuge, located on the Felik ridge, is situated on the Italian side of the Monte Rosa massif at an altitude of 3,585 metres.
It is the destination for picturesque excursions on Monte Rosa, including Castore and Lyskamm.
The refuge was built in 1885 by the Italian Alpine Club and dedicated to Quintino Sella. Over time, it was rebuilt, enlarged and moved several times due to deterioration and a major landslide in 1936. In the 1970s, modern facilities were added and plans began for a new, larger hut.
