The Hotel Cavour et des Officiers is located at the entrance to the Aosta Valley within the impressive walls of Fort Bard, in the Opera di Gola building. It was developed within the rooms of the old garrison, above the bakery. Guests can park their cars in the multi-storey car park. Moreover, you can reach the very top by using the panoramic glass lifts from the mediaeval hamlet of Bard/multi-storey car park of the Fort, as well as by following the historic driveway.
All the interiors proudly feature the furnishings of famous designer Vico Magistretti, produced by the E’ De Padova studio.

How to get here
By car
For guests travelling from Turin: Pont-Saint-Martin motorway exit. On leaving the motorway, continue on the S.S. 26 main road in the direction of Aosta. About two km on, when you have passed the village of Donnas, you will see the multi-storey car park of Fort Bard on your right.
For guests travelling from Aosta: Verrès motorway exit. On leaving the motorway, continue in the direction of Turin. Once you have passed the village of Arnad, about three km on, continue on the S.S. 26 main road until you come to the multi-storey car park of Fort Bard on your left.
By public transport
The nearest railway station to the facility is the Pont-Saint-Martin, with direct connections from Turin. An hourly urban line provides a link to the municipality of Bard (runs 14 times a day). The stop itself is also just outside the hamlet, only 30 metres from the entrance, in the hamlet, which takes you along a footpath to the top of the Fortress.
Local trains stop at the station of Hone/Bard, about 250 metres from the Fort.
