Promoting quality and culture
The Cervino CineMountain Film Festival is held in Breuil-Cervinia and Valtournenche, every year, towards the end of July. The geographic location of the Festival, 2000 m altitude makes it the “Highest Festival in Europe”. Cervino CineMountain aims to valorise and promote mountain cinema through around fifty screenings grouped into different categories.

moregeneral themes, such as climate, adventure, sport, culture, history etc. Its particular formula, a kind of “Festival of Festivals”, involves the screening of films that have received recognition or have been selected in the most important international festivals in the sector. This ensures the high quality of the films on view and, testimonies from all over the world.

RAI-Valle D'Aosta, the National Museum of Cinema in Turin and the FAI (Fondo Ambientale Italiano, Italian Environment Fund).
Cervino CineMountain also offers “Espace Montagne”, including mountain-related initiatives and events. This space has a bookshop, a newspaper library, a projection room, an exhibition room, an area for book presentations and a climbing wall.
