Snowshoeing in the Rhemes valley ending with a delicious lunch

The itinerary of the hike follows the Grand Ru channel to the waterfalls of Entrelor, and then descends to one of the most enchanting places in the Gran Paradiso National Park. Hidden between spruces and larch trees there is a spring of water that continuously the small and clear Pellaud lake.
Here awaits you the well-deserved typical lunch prepared by the restaurant manager of the “Les Refuges” restaurant. This restaurant was an old mountain hut renovated with great attention and care, the fire is always lit and a wooden furniture makes the atmosphere warm and welcoming. The snowshoe hike will be an opportunity to get hungry and know some secrets of the enchanting Nature of the Gran Paradiso National Park.
Maybe you will be lucky enough to spot some animals choosing not to go to hibernation and to overcome the winter outdoors.

Time of the hike: 5 hours (time for lunch included)
Height difference: 200 metres approx.
Difficulty: E (for hikers)
Number of participants:minimum 8 – maximum 15 persons
Necessary clothing and equipment: trekking boots, wind-proof jacket, long winter pants, thermos with hot drink, sunscreen, sunglasses.
Recommended equipment: snow poles, camera and binoculars. Participants should have with them their packed lunch
