Up there, where the Mont Blac is reflected in the Gran Paradiso: Loie lake

The waterfalls in Lillaz, the splendid Loie lake and the Bardoney valley are three magnificent sites belonging to a paradise where is sweet to get lost and savour nature with all five senses. You can appreciate the beauty of the places by listening to the beats and slow rhyhms of the mountain. This is one of the most fascinating loop itineraries in the Gran Paradiso National Park, with his Majesty the Mont Blanc that observes you from above.

Two jewels of nature in the territory of Lillaz play the role of main actors or most attractive places of the whole hike. You start from the Lillaz waterfalls to reach, after two hours of climbing the most visited lake of the area: Loie lake (2346 metres a.s.l.) in whose crystalline waters the Mont Blanc is reflected, all within the borders of the Gran Paradiso National Park. Return to Lillaz descending the valley of Bardoney following the itinerary of the Alta Via n.2

Time of the hike: loop itinerary- 5.45  hours to conclude the whole circular itinerary.

Number of participants: minimum 7, maximum 10 persons

Recommended clothing and equipment: trekking boots, layered clothing, wind-proof jacket, rucksack, water, sunglasses, cap, packed lunch
