The Mont Mars B&B is a building on three levels, built in the second half of the 19th century, a typical rural Valle d’Aosta house, made of local stone and larch wood, with a roof of stone slabs like those that characterize the villages and the landscape of Valle d’Aosta.
The facility is located at the foot of the Mont Mars Nature Reserve, the area of passage of the Tor des Geants (the Endurance Trail of Valle d’Aosta) on the Alta Via no. 1, about 3 km away from the Plan de Coumarial (facility for resting with cross-country trails and snowshoe trails) and about 25 minutes from the renowned ski resort of Gressoney.
A short distance away, guests will find monuments and places of interest to satisfy their desire for knowledge, sports centers and gyms to keep fit, ski centers for lovers of all winter sports. It is the perfect place for families who want to find the comforts of their home in the accommodations they stay at, for those who want to spend a romantic holiday in a quiet and reserved environment, for lovers of the silence of nature and tranquility or for those who want to go trekking or be accompanied by Alpine guides on the Monte Rosa glacier. An intermediate stage of long journeys, the perfect environment to regenerate yourself from stress and daily fatigue or simply to experience another kind of mountain life.

Rifugio Barma

The Barma refuge is located at an altitude of 2060 meters in the Mont Mars nature reserve, located between the Biella area and the Valle del Lys in the Aosta Valley. The stone structure is built around the mountain rock in the center of an amphitheater overlooking the lakes of the same name at the foot of the Mont Mars massif (2600 m). The refuge is recently built and has a large bar, two dining rooms, eight bedrooms, five of which sleep 8, two sleep 4 and one double with bathroom. The bathrooms are shared.

The structure is equipped with solar panels for the production of electricity, integrated by a system of co-generators. The water is captured deep in the lake and treated with a water purifier so as to avoid the use of packaging to be disposed of.

La Maisonette

La Maisonette is a typical Valle d’Aosta house built in wood and stone. The recent restoration has highlighted its original architecture, which was joined by modern, simple but functional furnishings. The high ceilings provide the house with excellent natural lighting.
The dortoir (dormitory) provides 2 bedrooms. The largest is a double/twin room from which you can access the terrace and where you can add a cot. The other one is a double bedroom characterized by the presence of stones and exposed beams, with a large window overlooking the woods. The facility also has a large living area, a combination of elegance and rusticity, consisting of a comfortable and well-equipped kitchen, attached to a living room with a double sofa bed.
The small terrace in front of the house has a comfortable covered area with a pleasant view. An ancient mule track that disappears into the woods before reaching the mountain, passes right below it.

La Maison de Mémé
