Where to eat: Donnas, Fontainemore, Perloz

The restaurant offers typical Aosta Valley cuisine.

In an ancient house from the 1600s, renovated with a combination of recovery and modernity, we offer a cuisine inspired by the territory, the place where we are and our origins. The fresh pasta is homemade, our dishes are cooked on a traditional wood stove and accompanied by naturally leavened breads and focaccias of our production.

VEGETATION
Wooded complex mainly composed of Chestnut with sporadic broad-leaved trees (Birch Hazelnut Goat Willow, Ash, Poplar and Cherry). Some isolated Larch specimens. Undergrowth composed of Berberis, Dog Rose and White Willow in shrub form.

HOW TO GET THERE
You can arrive by crossing the Dora Baltea River at the altitude of Donnas town along State Road 26.

AREA VIEW
From the district, located at the start of the central valley, you can look North-West to Bard Fortress, and in the direction of the mouth of Lys Valley to see the ancient Castellaccio in Pont-Saint-Martin.

EXCURSIONS
• Cross the mule track that departs from the Outrefer district to reach “I pian” lower valley pasture and continue onwards along the path leading to the Cormoney mountain pasture.
• Take the public road to the Les Donnes district and then the path leading to the Moja mountain pastures.

L'Alpe Bonze è raggiungibile unicamente a piedi con un sentiero di 2h che parte da località Visey (Donnas) e non presenta particolari difficoltà o zone esposte.
L'atmosfera accogliente e familiare, il contesto montano e la simpatia dei gestori vi faranno vivere emozioni indimenticabili sia se vorrete mangiare pranzo che se vorrete soggiornare. La cucina è semplice con materie prime di qualità prese da aziende agricole della vallata.

La nostra cucina si basa su prodotti freschi e stagionali, rispettando il territorio e il lavoro dietro le materie prime. La sala è piccola ed accogliente e può contenere fino ad un massimo di 20 persone.

Cozy pizzeria-restaurant, located along the national road 26, opposite the Donnas train station. In addition to the pizzas on the menu, it is possible to enjoy traditional cuisine.

The farmhouse Rocher Fleurì is situated on the hill, just 3 km from Donnas in a very quiet place, an excellent location for families with children, hikers and sports lovers.
The restaurant proposes typical dishes made with products from our farm that change with the seasons.

The name of the place comes from one of our wines produced in Palaia (Pisa) and which accompanies our dishes: tigelle, fried gnocco and Tuscan cold cuts. Happy hour appetizers.

Hamburger with all ingredients at zero km., Arev certified meat, hamburgers with gluten-free bread, cutting boards and Aosta Valley dishes.

HOW TO GET THERE
You can arrive by taking the Lys Valley regional road until you pass Fontainemore town. From here continue onwards until you reach the diversion on the River Lys, while following the directions for Coumarial.

AREA PANORAMA
In front of you, you can admire the Dames de Challand summits and, to the right, Mount Nery.

EXCURSIONS
• From the equipped area you can take excursions that lead to the Coda Refuge, Mount Mars and Vargno Lake.
• You can reach the itinerary of the Alta Via No. 1 which, leaving Donnas, travels the altitude of the side valleys to the left, up to Courmayeur.

The welcoming atmosphere of the house is fundamentally based on the quality of the cuisine. The restaurant offers dishes of national cuisine alternating with those of the Aosta Valley cuisine. Bread, pasta and desserts are homemade. Our meats are cooked using low temperature cooking technology. We use local products as much as possible.

Opened in 1976, the family has run this restaurant for 5 generations, always taking care of welcoming and catering to guests. Guests can enjoy typical traditional Valle d’Aosta dishes, as well as specialities created by the Chef. Highly recommended for those visiting the Mont Mars Park!
