The house in the prairie is not just a movie; a welcoming Chambre d’Hotes was built in Vertosan next to the renowned trattoria. Beautifully renovated with great passion and care in picking the materials, reusing as much as possible the old building’s stones and wood boards. The whole roof was made strictly with Valle d’Aosta larch wood, the plasterwork is lime-based, and natural pigments were used for the colours of the rooms.
The furniture is all Aosta Valley antiques; many of the doors and fabrics are made of natural fibres.

The rooms, meticulously cared for and furnished, are all made of wood, which emphasises a warm and welcoming rustic mountain atmosphere. While some of them overlook the bell tower of the parish church of San Cassiano, others offer a wonderful view of the Alps. The large green area, used by guests for sunbathing or letting children play, also allows the house to have an excellent view of Mont Blanc and the entire Alpine chain. The property is suitable for everyone: families, individuals, groups of friends and couples. Its proximity to the ski resorts of La Thuile (about 20 km), Courmayeur (about 12 km), the Mont Blanc cable car (about 18 km) and the Pré Saint Didier thermal baths (about 6 km) make it the ideal place for a sporting holiday or complete relaxation.

La Maison du Seigneur is the renovation of what was once, back in the 16th century, the Tower of Justice or fortified house, also known as the ‘prison tower’, seat of the chapters of the cathedral and collegiate church of Aosta, Lords of Derby, who administered their property and justice there.
In 2013, the house was renovated to create a B&B.
The property has a breakfast room with TV, a well-stocked collection of board games and books, a relaxation room with infrared sauna and chromotherapy, spinning bikes and treadmills. 
The rooms are furnished in a typical mountain style with great attention to detail and are equipped with private bathroom with hydromassage shower and hairdryer, flat-screen LED television with satellite channels.

 

La Pâquerette B&B is located in the hamlet of Chez les Rosset, surrounded by greenery and close to the village of La Salle, at an altitude of 1,000 metres, about 2 km from the Morgex motorway exit.

Excursions to the Gran Paradiso Valsavarenche National Park, Val di Rhêmes and Cogne, as well as the nearby Valgrisenche, are also fascinating in every season.
