On June 29th, bad weather caused spot damage in some areas of the region, where restoration work is underway. In all other tourist valleys and resorts the road traffic is regular and all accommodation facilities and commercial businesses are open.

Here the updates:
• in Breuil-Cervinia the road traffic is regular and most of the accommodation and commercial facilities are open. Some hiking paths remain interrupted;
Cogne cannot be reached by car at the moment, due to damage to the regional road. The restoration works are underway and, from 7.00 am on 27 July, the regional road leading to the beautiful town at the foot of the Gran Paradiso will be accessible again.
the Gran Paradiso National Park is accessible from the Valsavarenche and the Rhêmes Valley;
the regional network of hiking paths is accessible: punctual interruptions are confirmed, at the moment, along some stages of the "Alte Vie", in the upper Valpelline (municipalities of Bionaz and Oyace), in Val Clavalité (municipality of Fénis). Other trails may be interrupted and unusable: pending complete reconnaissance of the path network (and possible restoration interventions), before any hiking it is advisable to inquire on site about the conditions of practicability (contacting the tourist offices, forestry stations , the offices of the mountain guides, the keepers of the refuges).

We are waiting for you in Valle d'Aosta!
