La Mine

The “La Mine” youth hostel is located near the Fondation Grand Paradis, in the former miners’ village of Cogne; from its rooms you can see all the structures of the former mine which is now closed, and there is also a wonderful view of the Gran Paradiso massif (mt 4061). It is about 1 km from Cogne (a logistics center for any activity of any kind) and it is easily accessible also on foot.
It is surrounded by a heavenly peace and completely surrounded by greenery, with the possibility of reaching it by car with ample parking space. It is 25 km from Aosta where there is also a bus service with 8 trips, and by taxi, provided directly by the hostel. The hostel is contained in two recently renovated buildings, equipped with every necessity, including large multipurpose rooms for any activity of any kind. In the restaurant, you can taste dishes cooked with 0 km ingredients and typical of Cogne, as well as dishes that satisfy any type of need.
