The Petit Cœur is located in Champoluc, hamlet of the municipality of Ayas, in the upper Ayas Valley.
‘When we came to Champoluc, in the Varasc areas, we renovated our grandparents’ old house that dates back to the Thirties. Our grandparents had named the house Petit coeur (little heart) and so we decided to keep the name to recall the familiar and welcoming atmosphere that we cherish. As a consequence each room has been designed to remember the grandparents and their interests.’
All of the rooms are the result of a careful renovation which was carried out in complete harmony with the local area and surrounding buildings, respecting the local architectural style; everything was done with a warmth and care which is typical of a family-run business. By car
From anywhere in Italy: A5 Torino - Aosta motorway and take the Verrès exit.
From France: go through the Mont Blanc tunnel, take the A5 Torino - Aosta motorway and take the Verrès exit.
From Switzerland: go through the Great St Bernard tunnel driving towards Aosta; then take the A5 Torino-Aosta and take the Verrès exit.
Then, from the Verrès exit (toll booth), take the trunk road (Strada Regionale) ‘SS 45 della Val d’Ayas’ until you get to km 26.5.
By public transport
The nearest railway station is in Verrès.
There is a scheduled coach service as far as Ayas (about 9 coaches daily) and connections to the local circular bus route which links all the outlying districts.
