The Chaligne refuge is the result of the renovation of a typical mountain hut in wood and stone. Particular attention has been paid to the eco-environmental aspects and to respect for the pre-existing architecture, with the recovery of a great deal of local materials.
The furnishings have been made from wood partly derived from improvement works in the area and have been treated with eco-compatible products. The interiors have been furnished with taste and love for local tradition
The refuge has solar panels which guarantee the ecological production of warm water as well as the integration of the heating system during colder periods.
The restaurant offers traditional Valle d'Aosta products and dishes, placing particular value on those products made by the mountain pastures in the area.
Suitable for families with children.
