Locanda La Brenva

The “Locanda La Brenva” is located in the hamlet Entreves in Courmayeur in a small, pretty suburb around 2 km from the centre at an altitude of 1300m on the slopes of Mont Blanc, which in 2015 will become the departure point of the new and modern structure of the “funivia dei ghiacciai” cableway that connects Italy and France crossing the Mont Blanc massif.

The Hotel “Locanda La Brenva” originally dates back to 1897 and the story goes that the Royal family of the House of Savoy were among the guests. The most loyal of these guests was Victor Emanuel III. From then on the hotel was completely renovated while maintaining the warmth and cosiness of the old mountain buildings. Thick stone walls, strong exposed beams and stone fireplaces characterise the indoor environment.
Located at the foot of the magical Mont Blanc, it offers a spectacular view and much comfort due to the spaces dedicated to the wellbeing of the guests such as the outdoor garden, the bar, the lounge with a unique fireplace in the centre, a meeting point for aperitifs and after dinner drinks or simply for reading a book and relaxing on a comfortable sofa, a small sauna and the restaurant.
