Ion Cup Deepbike

A downhill mountain bike race open to all riders born between 1955 and 2013, both licensed and non-licensed.

Each stage includes 3 timed Gravity Stages (GS) on tracks accessed by chairlifts. The courses are designed to offer the right mix of technical sections and speed, challenging Downhillers, Enduro riders and E-bikers.

GS1 and GS2 take place on the same track: only the best time counts.
GS3 is the final run that determines the overall ranking.

Schedule: 10:00 am: Start of racing (GS1 and GS2)
2:30 pm: Final start – GS3

Final ranking:
Sum of the best time (GS1 or GS2) + GS3 time

Starting Order

GS1 / GS2:
Team start (every 30 seconds). Teams manage their riders from fastest to slowest. Maximum gap between teams: 90 seconds.

Final (GS3):
Start in reverse order of the provisional ranking (every 30 seconds).

Top 15:
The 15 best riders start last, with a 1-minute interval.
