Patoué eun Mezeucca - Concert in Patois
Patoué eun Mezeucca returns with a new edition celebrating the bicentenary of the birth of Jean-Baptiste Cerlogne.
“Vionda la Tita, Y é Batita - L'éritadzo de Cerlogne” pays tribute to this exceptional figure through a harmonious fusion of music, history and poetry.
This deeply emotional performance – produced by ControVento – brings together on stage Philippe Milleret, César Marguerettaz and the Lari-pionpion, Lady Barbara and La Clicca de Saint-Martin, Fabien Lucianaz, Yvette Buillet, Maura Susanna, Katia Perret, as well as the Chœur de Verrès conducted by Albert Lanièce.
Together, along with other musicians, they will offer a unique opportunity to rediscover, through the prism of his art, the genius, inventiveness and foresight of the provost of Saint-Nicolas. It was precisely this vision that made him the first illustrious Valdostan to grasp the fundamental importance of the Franco-Provençal language in shaping Valdostan identity.
