Free guided excursion to Alpe Valmeriana and visit to the millstones - A full-day hike

• ^{9 a.m. meeting point at the parking in Pontey and transfer by car to Alpe Valmeriana. Once there you will continue the excursion with a guided tour the millstones. You will have the opportunity to observe these ancient fragments of millstones scattered on the ground along the way.}

^{The Alpe Valmeriana and its pastures are situated at 1798 metres (a.s.l.) and you can reach them by car in about 50 minutes. This is an unpaved mountain road that can only be covered by appropriated vehicles. At the end of the guided visit to the millstones you can rest and have a picnic pause. Return for the extraordinary opening of the photographic exhibition on the themes of country life by Serafino Servodidio.}

^{Height difference:  200 metres approx.}

^{The itinerary presents some steep and more difficult exposed sections. Recommended clothing: trekking boots, breathable and comfortable T-shirt, fleece pull over, wind-proof jacket, cap. Not to forget poles, headlamp, and camera. Even more important: you should take with you your packed lunch and a thermos with water.}
