The tsan is an ancient and popular sport from the Aosta Valley vaguely reminiscent of baseball.

It is part of the traditional Aosta Valley sports, with palet, rebatta and fiolet and it is protected by the Fédérachon Esport de Nohtra Téra.

This sport is practiced in two championships, one in spring (more important) and one in autumn, and it is not traditional in all the Aosta Valley but only in the municipalities of the central valley, between Montjovet and Aosta, in Val d’Ayas and in Valtournenche.

Tramo del Dora Baltea que va desde la barrera CVA (pueblo de Saint-Marcel), hasta el puente transitable que lleva a las aldeas del envers del pueblo de Chambave (pueblos de Chambave, Fénis, Nus, Saint-Marcel, Verrayes), en el que es obligatorio liberar el pescado. Solo se permite la pesca con mosca, inglesa y valsesiana con anzuelos sin hebillón.
