Se llega por la carretera regional que conecta Morgex con el Paso San Carlo.

Al noroeste, Mont Cramont, Mont Chétif, Monte Blanco, Dente del Gigante y Les Grandes Jorasses. Al norte, Testa de Lacony y la Grande Rochère; al nordeste, el gran cañón de Vertosan.

EXCURSIONES
• Es posible visitar el lago de Arpy y luego el lago de Pietra Rossa, siguiendo el sendero que comienza cerca del área equipada.• Desde el paso de San Carlo, siguiendo la calle peatonal que se abre a la derecha, por un recorrido en gran parte plano, se llega a Testa d’Arpy, desde donde se puede apreciar el macizo del Monte Blanco.

Pasando el pueblo de La Salle, continuar hacia Planaval hasta después de la fracción de Morge Dessus.

VISTA
Frente al área se ve bien el cañón de Promuod, dominado por el Mont Paramont; al oeste se puede apreciar la cadena del Monte Blanco; al este, siguiendo con la mirada el valle central, se entrevén los valles laterales de Valgrisenche, Valsavarenche y Valle de Rhêmes.

EXCURSIONES
• Es posible visitar el pueblo de Grassey, los caseríos de Licony, el lago homónimo y el nuevo bivac Pascal, en Testa Licony.
