Meet at 8:30 a.m. in La Thuile in the Planibel area or in the hamlet of Pont Serrand, a 10-minute drive from the village.The exact point will be communicated to participants during registration.

After a short explaination on the materials needed for ski mountaineering, we will then begin the hike to learn basic ascent progression techniques. There will also be a few moments dedicated to the topic of prevention and safety/self-rescue in case of avalanche. On the descent, depending on snow conditions, it will be decided whether to return via the slopes or by hiking some sections off-piste.
Expected return at 2 pm.
