Where to sleep: Oyace

La Tour is located in the centre of the village of Oyace, along the Alta Via n. 1 trail. The rooms are very cosy, double and triple with private bathroom and terrace with breathtaking views of the valley; quadruple room with bunk beds, a dormitory for 6-7 people.

In summer and autumn, it is the ideal place to stay along the Alta Via. It is the starting point for climbing up to the famous octagonal tower, La Tornalla, or for a pleasant walk around the village, crossing the Betendaz Bridge with its picturesque gorge.

In winter, the area around the dormitory is ideal for snowshoeing. The cross-country ski trail in Bionaz is very close by and offers thrills not only for skiers but also for those who would like to try biathlon.

The La Tour restaurant, run by the manager, who is also an excellent chef, offers a different menu every day, but always with dishes linked to local tradition and typical Italian dishes accompanied by excellent Aosta Valley wines and classic national wines.

The facility also has a small grocery shop where you can buy sandwiches and drinks for picnics in all seasons.
