The small and cozy Hiaruhous bed & breakfast obtained from the recovery and renovation of an ancient building situated in a panoramic location overlooking the main town “Duarf” of Issime, a Walser village, located in the heart of the Lys valley at about 1000 meters above sea level.
The B&B is in a quiet location, ideal for nature walks. The fantastic valley of San Grato, an ancient Walser settlement, is one of the most beautiful and interesting environments in the Aosta Valley for the fascination of its landscapes. Its history includes the origin of the cultural wealth which at a certain point during the course of history, had to vie with the reality of the settlement of a new population from the Valais, called Walser, on the territory.
The lovers of winter sports can reach the MonteRosaSki ski area in about 20 minutes; this is a ski area which connects three valleys: the Gressoney valley, the Ayas valley, and Valsesia, and also the cross-country ski tracks can be reached in 10 minutes.
The Savoia Castle, the Alpenfaunamuseum, the Walser museum and the Bard Fort are the cultural offerings of the area.
The B&B has 3 renovated rooms with recovery of traditional materials such as old wood and stone, furnished in the Alpine style with furniture from times past that recall and evoke the ancient savoir faire of local culture.
Breakfast is prepared with typical local products.
