The Monboso Hotel is located in the Staffal district, 4 kilometres from Gressoney-La-Trinité and 40 kilometres from Pont-Saint-Martin. The ski lifts in Bettaforca and Gabiet are a few kilometres away and you can arrive on foot.

Evocatively immersed in the ancient village of Gressoney-La-Trinité, situated at the foot of the main glacier of Monte Rosa, Lo Scoiattolo is a place where relaxation and comfort masterfully fuse with the exquisite reception of the owners, who are able to offer their guests a truly unique stay.

Built alongside the homonymous cableway in 1957, the hotel underwent complete renovation and was extended at the end of the 1980s.
It is set in an enviable position in the town of Gressoney-La-Trinité, in direct contact with the Punta Jolanda cableway pick-up-point, which provides access to the vast Monterosa Ski district.

The hotel which was built in 1970 is similar in structure to a typical Alpine hut.<br>The use of characteristic materials such as wood and stone, make the atmosphere warm and comfortable.<br>Situated in the heart of the Monte Rosa, the hotel Del Ponte can be reached by taking the Staffal-Gabiet cableway; it is open seasonally and its exclusive position make it possible to appreciate the mountains and admire the typical summer and winter characteristics.<br>It is family run, which makes each stay intimate and serene, typical of mountain life.

By means of green construction principles, Hotel Ellex was built in Gressoney, at the foot of Monte Rosa, a hotel in harmony with the environment, so as to promote the well-being of the guest who lodges there.
The desire was to try to use natural materials, such as stone, brick, wood, cork, eliminating chemicals that can pollute the internal environment, such as materials used in solid wood floors that are nailed without the use of synthetic glues.
The idea was to have an environment able to “breathe” so as to ensure the guest’s health and comfort: solid wood roof, natural cork as insulation, traditional plasters without chemical mixtures.
In addition, we wanted to respect the environment with measures that reduce the consumption of renewable resources through the use of solar energy, the insulation of the building and the use of taps to reduce water consumption.
Hotel Ellex supports an ethical project in favor of Eco-sustainable development that makes conscious use of natural resources, energy saving to protect our psychophysical health.

The Hotel is situated in the village of Fohre and is equipped with facilities to provide a completely relaxing holiday. Your day will begin with a buffet breakfast and you will then be free to pursue your favourite activities. <br>Within the hotel you will find numerous rooms set aside for reading, board games, videos, and bar services. There is a well equipped sauna area for those times when you wish to relax.<br>In the evenings the cook will tempt your palate with a selection of typical local dishes.<br>The owners will also be more than happy to provide you with all the necessary information regarding recreational activities, visits, history, culture or anything else which might be of use to you when organizing your stay.

With attention to the smallest details, this hotel is located in Tschaval, at 1850 meters above sea level.
It is about 4 kilometers from Gressoney La Trinité and can be reached by taking the Regional Road 44 towards Staffal, an ancient pasture. This is where the road ends: we are on the slopes of Monte Rosa which enchants for its beauty and uniqueness.
Small, devoted to those who are deeply tied to the mountain and do not want to give up comfort, the Hotel de Gletscher allows its guests to reach the ski resorts of the Monte Rosa Ski area on foot or directly on skis.

Once a hunting lodge, a favourite of Margherita di Savoia, queen of Italy, who used it as her favourite summer residence.<br>Today, it is part of the artistic heritage of the Valle d’Aosta and it opens its doors in its new role as Tourism Hotel Residential Complex.<br>The farm, linked to the hunting lodge by a new indoor facility, is now used as a bar, for refreshments and as a meeting point and for entertainment.

Here, those with a sweet tooth will have their appetites whetted by the ever well stocked "shop window" of homemade cakes and pastries prepared by the chefs.

The “Ristoro Sitten” Hotel was created for those who like to be in full contact with the mountain without renouncing to modern conveniences: having undergone careful restoration, the hotel is set at one of the highest altitudes of the Gressoney Valley and is an ideal base for both summer and winter excursions. <br>The wonderful view from the panoramic balcony is truly breathtaking; the view extends from the Monte Rosa massif and spans the Gressoney La Trinité basin. The Heidi Residential Complex is a small welcoming accommodation facility, run directly by the owners and situated in the hamlet of Fohre / Orsia, approximately 1.5 kilometres from the town centre, which is only 20 minutes’ walk away along the Lys stream or by bus, which stops right in front of the building. <br>The Heidi Residential Complex is situated in the heart of the “Monterosa Ski” resort which consists of three valleys, boasting 200 kilometres of slopes. The apartments are located at the pick-up point of a chairlift, which is connected to all the other ski lift facilities, and you can simply ski right down to your front door at the end of the day.<br>The Heidi Residential Complex is a good departure point for walks and excursions of varying difficulty.

The “Piccolo Residence” residential complex, built with typical local architectural features, is well set in a quiet corner in touch with nature.<br>It is situated 2 kilometres from the centre and 700 metres from the Monterosa Ski resort.

The Stolemberg Tourist-Hotel Residence is set in an enviable location both for skiers and for those who love walking and excursions to the summer mountain refuges.
The ski runs end right where the residence starts with a pair of apartments complete with a terrace bordering with the run of the Bettaforca-Champoluc side, while skiing takes place on the opposite side, Salati-Alagna. At the end of the run all you have to do is cross the road to reach the residence.
The Monterosa Ski ticket office is only 200m away.
The best itineraries for walking and trekking leave from right behind the residence. The path that leads to Sorgenti del Lys is one of the examples.
Staffal offers a range of attractions and facilities, such as fine restaurants, bars, pubs, sports equipment hire, ski school, snowpark, alpine guide office, games park, food shop, cash point, automatic coin-operated laundry, wellbeing centres of the adjacent hotels open to the public.

A modern, newly-built Residential Complex, matching the local construction style perfectly, set in the greenery and situated in the centre of the built-up area of Gressoney-La-Trinité, one of the Poles of the Monterosa Ski resort. The Monterosa is close to the ski-lift pick-up points and to the coach and shuttle bus stop.<br>The Complex offers one- and two-roomed apartments featuring all modern commodities.

Directly on the slopes, in the heart of the Monterosa ski area, 3 km beyond the center of Gressoney-La-Trinité, stands the brand-new construction of Residence Walsertal.
The residence has 8 apartments, including 4 studio apartments and 4 two-room apartments,
tastefully furnished. Each apartment also has a terrace or a balcony from where you can enjoy an incomparable view.

The “Capanna Carla” Bed & Breakfast is located at the foot of the Monte Rosa glacier, on the orographic right of the Lys river.
The bed & breakfast occupies the second floor of a building built following a philosophy of construction inspired by the principles of eco-sustainability, where particular attention was paid to the use of natural materials and thermal insulation. The interiors were designed with particular precision. Particular attention that is seen in the arrangement of the wooden furniture according to the principles of the mountain style without, however, neglecting the comfort of the guests.
The chalet that houses the bed & breakfast is located a few hundred meters from the Staffal ski center, right in the heart of Monterosa-Ski. From here, along the 180 km of slopes, you can reach the towns of Champoluc and Alagna, located in the adjacent valleys, as well as the center of Gressoney-La-Trinité. Furthermore, not far from the facility, there is the Capanna Carla family restaurant, where you can taste typical regional dishes.

The “White Moon” Bed & Breakfast is located in the municipality of Gressoney La Trinité, just 50 meters from the departure point of the Punta Jolanda chairlift, in the heart of the Monterosa Ski area.
From there, along the 180 km of slopes, you can reach the towns of Champoluc and Alagna, located in the adjacent valleys or climb up to an altitude of 3,275 meters on the Indren.
Furthermore, for off-piste and ski-mountaineering lovers there are routes that reach the 4459 meters of the Regina Margherita hut, the highest refuge in Europe.

The Gabiet refuge welcomes its guests in simple and comfortable surroundings, with furnishings which are typical of the Walser style.
There is a characteristic lounge for relaxation which is heated by a fireplace, and has a small mountain library.

The refuge is dedicated to the memory of abbot Giovanni Gnifetti, the parish priest of Alagna, explorer of Monte Rosa and the first to climb Signalkuppe in 1842, the summit which has now his name.
The history of Capanna Gnifetti reads much like the history of Sezione del Cai Varallo (the Cai Varallo Section).

The refuge is located at the foot of Monte Rosa, in the Indren basin, in the heart of the Monterosa Ski area.
An ideal destination for ski touring, off-piste skiing and snowshoeing enthusiasts in winter, trekkers, hikers and mountaineers in summer. An ideal place for lovers of nature and tranquility, it offers vegetarian and vegan cuisine.

Situated on the ridge of the Felik.
A starting point for many excursions on the Monte Rosa among which the Castore and the Lyskamm.

The Anderbatt inn, located around 600m away from the ski-lifts of the Monterosa-ski Resort, is the result of a complete renovation. There are 6 double rooms available, furnished with care and style, and a reading room with a splendid view over Mont Rose. The experience is enhanced by the possibility of dining at the restaurant on the ground floor of the house. Here, simple, wholesome dishes and local and regional products are offered. It is even possible to have lunch in the garden.
