Sport: Verrayes

By pic-nic area, in Champlong, equipped area for five-a-side football, volleyball, excursions.

In the sport centre, open all year round, the following activities can be practised: tennis, volleyball, 5-a-side football (booking is advised for these), traditional games (tsan and palet), bowls court, shooting range for biathlon and slope for roller skiing, which can also be used with bikes and roller blades.

Closed on Wednesday.

In the evening it is open only by reservation.

Lunch and dinner for children at the price of €15,00 (entrance to the ice rink included).

The Champlong trail runs at an altitude of 1650 m. on a large, sunny natural terrace at the foot of the great Becca d'Aver.

The easiest slope runs in the meadow in front of the car park, while the more challenging loop reaches Col des Bornes, winding through the woods between Verrayes and Torgnon and connecting the two ski areas.

Champlong run: 10 km - difficult
Connection with the loop Grandes Montagnes and Maisonnettes at Torgnon for a total length of 40 km.

The field is used for championship matches and training in the months of February, March, April, May, September and October.

Fishing season: from 30th March to 13th October 2025

Dora Baltea segment that runs from the CVA dam (town of Saint-Marcel) to the carriage bridge that goes towars the envers hamlets of Chambave (towns of Chambave, Fénis, Nus, Saint-Marcel, Verrayes), where catch and release is mandatory. Only fly, angling and coarse fishing with barbless hooks are permitted.
