Le Botteron
Bed & Breakfast - Saint-MarcelThe B&B Le Botteron is a comfortable, detached ‘rascard’ (wood and stone dwelling in the typical style of the Aosta Valley) surrounded by an attractive and extremely colourful garden in the small and intimate village of Vurvian in the Saint-Marcel municipality.
Peering out from the windows and balconies of Le Botteron, you can enjoy an enchanting landscape, and in summer the breeze from the nearby conifer and broad-leaf wood.
A spring water pond with domestic and wild animals can be found a few steps away. The atmosphere is natural and friendly, ideal for those who want to relax or go walking and trekking. You can climb up to the Plout Sanctuary or reach the spring Eva Verda, whose stones are the same blue as the Les Laures lakes, which are just below the peak of Mount Emilius (a medium-difficult route, but truly stunning). Those who would rather plunge into history can find the fascinating Fénis castle a few kilometres away.
