Lo Djoua de Toueno B&B is in the town of Arvier, suburb of Chamençon, at 1,250 m altitude. The house is a typical stone and wood building; it was recently renovated and dates back to the seventeenth century. It is surrounded by still unspoilt nature, with woods, pastures, and lovingly kept vegetable gardens. There are two double rooms available, as well as a large living room on the top floor, where guests can have breakfast while enjoying the splendid view of the Ruitor glacier. It will be pleasant resting before the fireplace in the evening with a board game, sipping on some good herb tea or grappa, or enjoying the sunset in the large green area in front. The decor sprang from the hands of the houses’ owners, who worked the historical old wood with passion and respect for tradition, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. During the renovation, we maintained the existing structural and architectural features, redoing them in a modern key. Here, simplicity and essentiality are the leitmotif, which completely agrees with our philosophy of life. Our aim is to make you feel at ease in a quiet place, away from the daily chaos and, at the same time, provide you with adequate information and advice so that you can plan your days “en plein air” to the best.
