Downhill skiing  -  Champoluc/Ayas/Antagnod

Monterosa Ski links three alpine valleys into a single ski area, in the sight of the Monte Rosa massif and the Mont Avic nature park between the Valle d’Aosta and Piemonte regions. It has always been popular with the most demanding skiers thanks to the carefully maintained runs and the superb technological standards of the lifts. 100 kilometres of runs and 8 alpine towns and villages (Antagnod, Alagna, Alpe di Mera, Brusson Estoul Palasinaz, Champoluc-Frachey, Champorcher, Gressoney-La-Trinité, Gressoney-Saint-Jean) that can be accessed with just one ticket and that link the valleys, equipped with 765 artificial snow cover points, thus offering skiers around 100 km of runs even when snow is scarce.

Champoluc-Frachey: the Champoluc ski area is part of the Monterosa circuit. A number of runs of varying difficulty cross its slopes, allowing all kinds of skiers to find what they are looking for here, from beginners to experts. Champoluc and Frachey are the departure points for an enchanting route that takes visitors on skis right to Gressoney and Alagna, in the other two valleys that complete the Monterosa Ski area. Its numerous, ultra-modern lifts lead up to the 2727 metre altitude of the Bettaforca Pass, where they link up with those of the Gressoney Valley. From the Crest (1935 metres), the lifts head on up to Monte Sarezza, (2820 m).
