The path has different characteristics on the two stretches, indicated on the map with different colours. The white stretch, which touches points 1 to 3 and 12 to 15, is easy and suitable for all, and has a panoramic balcony at point 3 (Cogne valley, Gran Paradiso and Mont Blanc). The red route, covering points 4 to 11, runs along the ridge and features some stretches that are suitable for those already used to walking in the mountains. Before setting out, careful consideration should thus be given to clothing, level of fitness and amount of time available, in order not to miss the last run of the gondola lift.
The Nature Path can be tackled with the help of the indications on the leaflet or by consulting the numbered panels along the route that refer to the leaflet, which may also be consulted later as a guide. There are also signs indicating the individual species present. The Gran Paradiso National Park works to protect and conserve the area’s natural heritage, and we therefore request the collaboration of all visitors: please stick to the paths and respect the facilities so that others may use them.
