Description of the route
From Vetan you’ll gradually climb and be gifted with unforgettable panoramas for your efforts, leading to the picturesque village of Vens.
From here, following the old farming routes, you quite literally overlook the steep territory of Avise, the strait of Equilivaz, where, in ancient times, the Romans built the road known as Pierre Taillée - with much difficulty - and, after a few more demanding sections, you’ll get to the quintessential village of Charvaz with its rows of old, narrow stone houses and its lovely chapel with a frescoed façade.
Lastly, from here there is a stretch with a sharp descent that leads to the hamlet of Moras, from where you continue on to La Salle via the villages of Echarlod and Ecours, discovering Medieval alpine spots and magnificent views of Mont Blanc.
