L'Abri des Amis

“L’Abri des Amis”, Barbara Bertoldo’s dream, has come true. The new guesthouse was built by renovating a part of the family property and furnishing it in an Alpine style.
Her Dad, Giorgio, heir to a family of carpenters and furniture makers, took care of the wooden panellings with his professionalism and skill, knowing how to give the environment a unique charm with the use of recycled wood and antique furniture.
The dream come true is accompanied by the desire to welcome those who choose to stay at L’Abri at the foot of Mont Blanc and help them discover elements and wonders along with the other peculiarities of Valle d’Aosta.
Barbara and her family will handle all of your needs and requests, from providing information about excursions to booking activities or restaurants where you can taste the local specialties.
The family management will thus allow a more direct and genuine relationship to make guests’ stays something to remember with pleasure. The facility, on three levels joined by a wooden, iron and glass staircase, houses the hall on the ground floor where a fireplace divides the breakfast room, “L’Incontro”, the café area and the “Campo Base” apartment. The Superior rooms “Chétif”, “Toula” and “Dent du Géant” are on the first floor as well as the relaxation area including a sauna, showers and bathrooms. On the top floor the Suites “Mont Blanc and “K2”.

The choice of names that recall famous peaks or places relative to Alpine expeditions, are due to the owners’ love for the mountains and the mountaineering tradition linked to these places.
