The Champillon refuge, which opened in June 2005, is in itself an interesting destination. It is an ideal place from which to observe the stars. Indeed, the managers of the refuge organize observation evenings to look at the Via Lattea through a telescope.
Typical Valle d'Aosta cuisine.
The refuge is a fundamental stop on both the Tour des Combins and Alta Via route 1.
