Trekking for a week-end: sunrise and sunset at the bivouac

Bivouac mon amour! A unique and must-do experience for those who want to enjoy splendid 360 ​​degree views; the sunset lights followed by a shared dinner in a bivouac; enjoy the sunrise and enjoy the silence of the mountain in the early hours of the morning.

Day 1 - Climb to the bivouac, sunset, dinner and then bed

Day 2 - Sunrise, breakfast, climb to the top (3300m) and return. It is also possible to take a dip in the water, if you want.  Stop at the refuge for  a lunch pause on the way back.

This hike is suitable for all those who: 

•  wish to spend a night in a bivouac
•  want to venture above 3000 meters accompnied by a hiking guide
•  have their legs already trained enough to cover the differenche in altitude of the whole excursion 

Estimated walking time: every day you'll walk around 4 or 5 hours

Difference in height: Day 1: +1150m; Day 2: +250m and -1400m

Difficulty: E/EE (experienced hikers)

Recommended clothing, equipment and materials: Hiking boots in excellent condition. Spacious backpack for the two-day trek, wich should be large enough yo contain : thermos or a bottle of water, snaks and packed lunch for the first day, sleeping  bag, layered clothing suitable for the season, rain-poof & wind-proof jacket. Hiking poles are higly reccomended.
