An easy yet surprise-filled hike starting from the Quincod district in Challand-Saint-Anselme. The trail crosses narrow streets where historic washhouses and fountains are found, descending towards Ruvere to visit an old mill. The hike then follows the Evançon stream, observing ancient water intakes and the remains of the giant’s kettles, until reaching Arcesaz, a place linked to a now-disappeared lake. A delicious stop is planned at a farmhouse along the way. The return is along the peaceful medieval path of the Ru d'Arlaz.
