Fiaccolata dei Maestri di Sci

Each winter, during the final days of the year, the La Thuile ski instructors organise a traditional torchlight procession, an event normally held (snow permitting) on the slope returning to the ski area. The large turn-out of instructors, form a spectacular long luminous procession with their torches for wishing a happy new year to their clients and all the tourists and residents of La Thuile. At the end best wishes are exchanged with a glass of mulled wine.
