The population of Ayas evokes the atmosphere of other times by reviving the ancient crafts and animating the historic centers with the many manual activities that once kept men, women and children busy in everyday life. The atmosphere is that of the past, with the lights on in the farmhouses and stables, in the dairy as well as in the oven, in the barn and at the mill.
