Valle d’Aosta rounds off the calendar of the “Internazionali d’Italia Series” circuit in style.
The charm of the mountains and an authentic alpine environment: La Thuile is the ideal setting for the final challenge between the aces of international mountain biking who will compete for the crowns of the “Internazionali d’Italia Series” on Saturday 3 June, but the town will also host the Italian stage of the “UCI Junior Series”, the World Cup for the Juniores category.
From Friday 2 to Sunday 4 June La Thuile, dominated by the perennial snow of the Rutor glacier and some of the highest peaks in Europe, will be invaded by mountain bikes and by the protagonists of the Olympic discipline.
The last stage of the “Internazionali d’Italia Series” winds its way near the town, at an altitude between 1,475 and 1,535 metres.
The race track measures 4,500 meters and has a height difference of 180 meters.
The start/finish area is at the base of the ski lifts of the Bosco Express chairlift, in the hamlet of Entrèves, close to the paddock and all the town’s services.
