Concert by the "Musikkapelle La Lira"

The musical band of Issime, the Musikkapelle ‘La Lira’, offers a concert, directed by Enrico Montanari.

The band, founded in 1906, had 19 musicians, supervised and conducted by Maestro Piovano from Nomaglio. The great enthusiasm for this musical group stimulated many young people to study music, and already in the early years the band’s activity was intense, under the direction of some local musicians. “La Lira” was and is still nowadays called upon to cheer patronal feasts, weddings and private parties, both in Issime and in the neighbouring villages.
