Saison Culturelle Music - Sent or eun Mezeucca

For this edition of the Foire the Trouveur Valdotèn propose a show to celebrate 45 years of activity. The novelty will be the intersection between the historic formation of research and re-proposal of traditional songs and music and the experimental trio of Estremia. On the one hand, the members of the Boniface family, in the delicate position of prolonging the memory of those witnesses who were recorded in the field or discovered between the pages of a book; on the other, the talented accomplices chosen to explore the territories in which the diatonic accordion moves as an evolution of traditional music aimed at composition and improvisation in the absolute urgency of pushing the rhythm into the current of sound of the new millennium.

The evening will be enriched by the presence of guests chosen from among the major interpreters of the song in Franco-Provençal: Luis de Jyaryot, historical interpreter of the Val d'Ayas songwriting, Maura Susanna, author and historical interpreter of the Magui Bétemps repertoire, Philippe Milleret, to represent the new generation of patois songwriting.
