"Poetry is a place"

In the interweaving practices that characterize Marta Tessaroli's work, the first operation is the ascent, in solitude, through steep and rugged places. The first sketches were drawn in a notebook, moved by a deep emotional tone, rooted in a silent contemplation: a Pact of Solidarity with Nature, an intimate dialogue with untouched and inviolable places, offering pure devotion. A tireless and laborious search. Marta lives and cultivates this pact with a sure method; she explores and refines lines and volumes, without ever obscuring the contact with the living being and its expressions.

Marta Tessaroli was born in Cremona in 1999. After finishing high school, she enrolled in the Painting course at the LABA Academy of Fine Arts in Brescia, where she graduated in October 2023. She is currently attending the two-year painting course at the Accademia Carrara in Bergamo
