The exhibition is part of the celebrations for the eightieth anniversary of the Resistance, Liberation and Autonomy.

The theme of the exhibition is memory in Valle d'Aosta between 1945 and 1967. The photographs, a selection of documents from regional archives, document the involvement of local communities in the last war period, focusing attention on the transmission of collective memory linked to the partisan struggle. The exhibition enhances the historical, cultural, political and social heritage of the Resistance, with its many material and immaterial testimonies, and contributes to making known the photographic and sound assets of the BREL regional archive".
