For 200 years, the Egyptian Museum has been a place of research, dialogue and innovation, where time becomes space.
In this lecture by Christian Greco and Evelina Christillin, we explore the various changes that have made the Turin institution a leading place in the world.
From the original antiquarian nature that characterised its birth in 1824, the excavation campaigns in Egypt that followed and resumed in 2015.
Today, the museum looks to the future by seeking to understand the tradition from which it derives.
Part of Aostae 2025, the series of events celebrating the 2050th anniversary of Aosta's foundation. All events can be viewed here
Free entrance with compulsory booking on Webtic - link available soon.
