Since 1962, the "Carnevale dei Piccoli" (children carnival) has brought joy and community spirit to Saint-Vincent. About a month before the event, elementary school teachers guide children through the process of electing the "Little Mayor" and their entourage. Fifth-grade students can run for symbolic roles such as Mayor, Master of Ceremonies, Councillors, Chief of Police, Police Officers, Fire Chief, Firefighters, Doctor, Red Cross Nurses, Nurses and Sutler.
The Sunday parade, the highlight of the Carnival, features folk groups, marching bands, and floats inspired by the world of children.
What to Expect:
- Grand float parade
- investiture of the Little Mayor
- Balloon release
