HOW TO GET THERE
You can only arrive using the cableway that departs from the Buisson district in the Municipality of Antey-St-André, since access to vehicles is not allowed in the Municipality of Chamois.

AREA PANORAMA
From the area in the East you can see Mount Fontané and Grand Dent, to the West Punta Fontanella, to the South Punta Tersiva and Becca di Luseney, to the North Petite and Grande Muraille and the Château des Dames.

EXCURSIONS
• On reaching Clavalité Sanctuary you can climb to Punta Falinère.
• Instead, on the way down in the direction of the Cheneil district, you can go back up to Col di Nana.

Near the Lod lake, there is the Fontana Freida restaurant, reachable on foot in about 30/40 minutes from the center of Chamois or, during opening periods, by chairlift or on skis, when the season allows it.
If you want to take a break for a rest after a walk or after skiing, this is certainly the ideal place to go. With its practical self-service, it offers dishes from the traditional local cuisine, but it also offers a variety of daily dishes. Also suitable for a quick snack break.
The hut has a large terrace for relaxing in the sun.

The “Bellevue” is located in the hamlet of Corgnolaz in the municipality of Chamois, just a stone’s throw from the cable car’s point of arrival.
The restaurant, run directly by its owner, Carlo, offers dishes from Valle d’Aosta as well as national cuisine in a friendly and family-like environment.

Le Coin du paradis located at the arrival of the cable car and at the departure of the chair lift to Lake Lod, offers a panoramic dehors. You will be able to savor a line composed of sandwiches, salads, platters and hot dishes prepared with carefully selected local products.

The Chez Pierina restaurant is located near the path that goes from Chamois to La Magdeleine, in a corner of paradise surrounded by mountain huts. This family-run restaurant began its business in 1975 by grandmother Pierina who, with her home cooking and tasty polenta cooked on a wood fire, has made herself known and appreciated. The secrets of her grandmother’s cuisine and her recipes have been handed down to her daughter Eugenia who, with her granddaughters Sara and Marta, continues to manage the recently renovated restaurant.

On Friday evenings, Saturdays, Christmas holidays and August by reservation only.

The Da Bruna restaurant, overlooking Lake Lod, reachable on foot in about 30/40 minutes from the square of Chamois, or by chair lift when it is open and on skis and snowshoes in the winter.
The small quaint restaurant offers home cooking and local cuisine in a family environment, ideal for a break from skiing or after an excursion on the trails around the village or for relaxing while overlooking the lake.

Upon advance reservation it is possible to organize beautiful dinners by the lake.

The Del Lago restaurant is located in the vicinity of beautiful Lake Lod, reachable on foot in about 30/40 minutes from the Piazzetta di Chamois, or by chair lift when it is open; the restaurant is on the ski slopes.
The restaurant offers regional cuisine in a rustic and family-like atmosphere.
During the summer season, a beautiful outdoor area.
Evening meals are served by reservation only.

Just below the small square of Chamois is the Maison Cly hotel restaurant, characterized by an elegant and rustic environment, ready to welcome guests in an atmosphere of warmth and friendliness, enriched by a splendid terrace with a beautiful view.

The highly-experienced Chef Fabrizio Polacchini at the Cly restaurant offers a revisited cuisine, but one that always preserves the local tradition.
