Alta valle inter-municipal piste in Gran San Bernardo

Cross-country skiing  - 

From the characteristic mediaeval village of Etroubles, an 18 km long cross-country trail sets out and climbs up the valley, passing through Saint-Oyen and touching upon a number of attractive little villages before reaching the 1521 metre altitude of Saint-Rhémy-en-Bosses. The other trails comprise loops of varying difficulty that cross wooded areas and offer skiers some superb views en route. In Etroubles there is also a 2 kilometre-long floodlit trail. Skiing is guaranteed from December through to spring, also thanks to a modern artificial snow cover system of the kind found in leading ski resorts.

At Flassin, in Saint-Oyen, the “Foyer de fond” offers changing rooms, ski waxing services and ski hire.

Equipped path for nordic walking

Healthy route  -  Étroubles

It starts from the sports area of ​​Etroubles, runs through the beautiful conifer forest on the right orographic side of Artanavaz, touching the picnic area and campsites of Saint-Oyen and continues along the stream.
It then moves to the left orographic side to climb to the locality of Saint-Léonard and then descend along the Via Francigena itinerary to Saint-Oyen and finally return to the starting point in Etroubles.

The route is feasible in both directions and in the absence of snow.

Snow Fun Park Flassin

Snow fun parks  -  Saint-Oyen

In Flassin, the playground offers a “playful” alternative to skiing, even for those who don’t know how to ski but still want to have fun in the snow. The park covers an area of ​​about 5 hectares near the Foyer de Fond. Inside you can play various recreational activities suitable for both children and adults.
The playground is served by a treadmill and there are:
a track for dinghies (snow tubing)
a track for Airboard
a track for snow bikes (Snow Bike and Ski Fox)
a track for sledges
a bobsleigh track
A second 70-metre-long conveyor belt that rotates at a speed of 0.60 m/s and with a capacity of 1,000 p/h serves an area dedicated to children who can slide on the snow with soft puppets in the shape of animals, cars and dinghies, a giant inflatable slide, a carousel and a pagoda have also been installed in the area where mothers can warm up and supervise the children at play.dren.

"Torrente Artanavaz" summer tourist fishing reserve

Riserva turistica del Consorzio Pesca (governmental and daily licences are compulsory).
The Torrente Artanavaz fishing reserve is about 3 km long. It starts from the carriage bridge which is close to the confluence with the Saint-Rhémy streams in the hamlet of Cerisey and ends right before the town of Etroubles, at the water plug in the hamlet of L’Ilette.

Fishing is permitted seven days a week in the game fisheries managed by the fishing consortium.

Ice rink for cars La Rosière

The ice-skating rink for cars in loc. La Rosière, near the ski resort of Crévacol,  has the following features: 700 meters long, 10 -14 meters wide, paddock with 30/35 parking spaces and adjoining parking space for car wreck, gear or trolleys.

You must have your own car with non-pyramidal normal nail tires.

The track is equipped with lighting.

Crévacol ski resort

Downhill skiing  -  Saint-Rhémy-En-Bosses

In the area of Saint-Rhémy, the last of the municipalities in the Great St. Bernard Valley (1519m), lies the Crévacol ski resort. Its superb position, facing entirely south and therefore very sunny, makes it an ideal choice not only for skiers, but also for those who prefer to relax and take home a suntan. The altitude of the ski resort ranges from 1640 to 2450 metres, with a level difference of 810 metres and 20 km of runs. Crévacol is able to meet the requirements of all kinds of skiers, from beginners to the more experienced, who can have fun away from the crowds, and it also offers plenty of scope for snowboarders.
A three-person chairlift takes skiers right up to the top of the ski resort, at an altitude of 2450 m, while a second chairlift and a magic carpet for beginners serves the area further down, between 1640 and 2000 metres.
A 6 km snow-making system is the “snow guarantee” for the whole winter season.
