The bivouac, built in 1990, is dedicated to Umberto Rosaire and Marco Clermont.
Access:
From Nus take the Saint-Barthélemy road as far as Lignan where you can leave your car. Take the mule track that heads up amidst meadows and forests until you come to the Fontaney and Tza Fontaney Alps, from where, heading right and crossing the flat grassland, you will come to Col du Salvé. From here, heading north and, after the fork, keep to the right, cross over by going down the slope, and once past a few crags, you will come to the bivouac.
Equipment: blankets, gas stove, water in the lake nearby, outdoor toilet.
