A full day on a mountain dairy farm together with those who work there all summer, following the pace set by the animals and the mountain environment. Guided visits, lunch with typical produce, polenta, Fontina and fresh cheeses.

The hike starts from Cervinia, and continues along the picturesque trail called “Grande Balconata del Cervino”. From there the dirt road leads to the Sant’Anna chapel and then directly to the wonderful Goillet lake. The return is a descent towards the village of Breuil-Cervinia.

This excursion includes the climb to the Duca degli Abruzzi Refuge, which is the starting point for the ascent to the Matterhorn. To start the ascent, you have to follow the Jean Antoine Carrel path, which allows the observation and study of moraine environments.
The return takes place by descending the Matterhorn moraine and reaching the pastures of Plan Maison.
A wonderful hike, which requires a good level of physical fitness (height difference + 900 m.)
