Champorcher (1440 m) is the first ski resort in the Aosta Valley that visitors will come to from Turin or Milan. It borders the Mont Avic Regional Park and is just 21 km from the motorway exit and the railway station of Pont St. Martin.
It offers 12 km of runs, always with plenty of snow, and is suitable for all kinds of skiers: for beginners, there are two ski schools served by two magic carpets, while competitive skiers can tackle the exciting descents of the Bosco slope, on which a number of important national teams train.
In just 5 minutes, the Cimetta Rossa Express four-seater chairlift will take you up to the beginning of the no. 13 run, situated at an altitude of 2500 m, which offers unforgettable views out over the Matterhorn, Monte Rosa and the Rosa dei Banchi Glacier.
Champorcher is also an ideal destination for ski mountaineering trips, with reserved routes immersed in beautiful natural surroundings.

Cross-country fans will find a ski loop called Moulin, situated between Château and Chardonney and measuring a total of 5 km. The loop starts out 500 m from Château, and runs for the most part through the woods and alongside the Ayasse river, and skiers can choose the 3 km loop that presents no significant level differences and is easy to tackle; the route can be completed with a further 2 km, although the additional distance is considerably more challenging and requires greater technical skill.
